A week or so after the grandkids left following Bible School, I became so sick.....couldn't keep anything in me. Made two trips to my regular doctor and to ER (for fluids as I was dehydrated and for tests, etc.). Also saw a gastroenterologist. Between my regular doctor, the ER doctor and the gastro doctor, besides lots of blood work, I had a cat scan, x-rays and a MRI ran. None of it showed any concerns except for an adrenal gland mass (very small and later determined it was of no concern and not the cause of my issues)
It lasted for almost a month.....I loved the weight loss but hated feeling so sick. I barely could walk from my bedroom to the living room. We never did determine what the cause was. One day I woke up feeling better and thankfully I haven't experienced it again (and disappointedly I have gained all the weight plus some back!)
July 15, Jeff had his 69th birthday. Sadly, he spent the day in the ER with me. We didn't get to celebrate for several weeks. But so thankful God has given him 69 years of life!💙
Posting this picture of him (actually taken in August)...when the staff dressed "each" other one day and I think Jeff won for the best costume (Travis provided the outfit)!!😂
