My favorite Thanksgiving Facebook profile pic (2019). No we weren't with our kids this Thanksgiving but looking forward to all being together the end of December.
Decorated a little later this year (Nov. 19th & 20th). Even put up two trees this year -- very unusual for me!!
Posting for my memory sake....Rachel and family were able to go to Disney for two weeks (week prior to Thanksgiving and week of Thanksgiving). A trip they had been planning over a year. So happy for them!
Sunday evening, Nov. 24th was the Thanksgiving Meal at Antioch (I made Bev's recipe of chicken spaghetti, yum, and a pumpkin pie)
Cute picture of Saylor dressed for her Thanksgiving program at school:
Josh, Michelle and Saylor came thru on their way to Michelle's Mom's for Thanksgiving. They spent the night with us on Tuesday night and then on their way home Friday night. Always love having them!💕
Reading to Papa (she didn't miss a word!!)
We enjoyed a delicious meal and enjoyable visit at Kaye and Rob's with all their family on Thanksgiving🧡🦃
We joined about 40 others from Antioch at Murray's Dinner Theater for "White Christmas" on Wednesday, Dec. 4th. Wasn't able to get a group picture as it was a rainy day and no place inside to do that.
That night, Dec. 4th, we had a very sweet Christmas fellowship at Paul and Glo's. Paul fixed us his delicious Norwegian pancakes and everyone brought items to compliment the meal. So good!
Friday, Dec. 6th was our Senior Adult Christmas Party at Hole in the Wall. Always a fun time with the Dirty Santa exchange.
Bethlehem Revisited was at Antioch Dec. 6-8. We had over 4700 the first two nights and then it rained all day on Sunday so was canceled. Jeff and I worked both nights.
Got a picture during Bethlehem ❤️
Our oldest granddaughter, Avi, turned 20 on December 9th! 💕🎉❤️
Jeff did his noon Bible study on Dec. 12th. This will most probably be the last time he does this as he is "fully" retiring Dec. 31st (due to his health). He probably will continue to do some teaching and I'll record him and post on my You Tube channel. If you are interested of any of his recent teachings, click here:
That night, Dec. 12th was our Calvary's Promise Class Christmas Party. Another fun night!
I made ham/turkey Hawaiian roll sandwiches for this
Friday night, Dec. 13th, we drove out to Guy/Greenbrier area for "Homecoming at the Castle." It was enjoyable
Sofie and the New Relics were one of the groups that sang (and did great). Had to get our picture with Sofie. Love her!
Sunday, Dec. 15th was the annual Lady's Ministry Christmas Luncheon with Sofie singing and Beth Hollingshead as the guest speaker. All very good! I was blessed to sit at the table with these gals.
Loved this picture texted to us of Laine looking so grown up and beautiful for a formal dinner and to the Dallas Symphony for Handel's Messiah!💕💕
And the last of our "parties/activities" -- our Antioch Staff Christmas Party (held at CBC). Jeff will miss working with all these wonderful people. But we will still be worshipping and serving alongside them as members of Antioch.❤️
Spouses:
Tonight, we had carolers!! Thanks to the Genesis Class for singing for us!
Now it's "all hands on deck" finishing up Christmas shopping, getting gifts wrapped, cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning, planning menus, buying groceries and eventually cooking for my family. They will all be with us 26th-29th. It will be a wonderful time!!💖
Merry Christmas to all!!❤️🎄🎉❤️🎄
