Jam Packed May!

May 1st was Rachel Ann's 32nd Birthday.  We are so thankful God completed our family with this girl!  She's been such a joy to us.  We love you, Rachel!
The first week of May was also our National Association in Arlington, Texas.  Paul Mooney, Aaron, Jenae and baby Gabe Polok and Jeff and I traveled together to the meeting.  Jeff served as 1st Vice President so he stayed busy during the week.  I didn't get any pictures of us this year but we had a great week in Texas.
In May, Ellie Kate graduated Preschool
 Laine Virginia completed 1st grade
And Avi Skye completed 6th grade!  Josh, Michelle, and Avi are moving to Nashville, TN later this summer.  Please pray it will be a great transition for all!  We will miss them!
Mother's Day Weekend, Bev came for a visit and attended FBC's Mother's Day Banquet with Mom and I.
A collage I did in honor of the special mothers in my life!
Mother's Day afternoon, Jeff, Mom, Bev and I traveled to Arkansas to spend some time with my kids and Kaye and her kids.  Also for all of them to meet baby Gideon

It is a rare thing for Mom to have all 3 of her girls together on Mother's Day, so that was special!
We had a fun picnic at Matt and Kristin's neighborhood park
A picture Rachel took and posted on Facebook of me for her Mother's Day wish ♥
I went to Rachel's from the park to spend the week with her and her family.
On Monday, I took these 4 to the Amazeum in Bentonville

 We had so much fun!!
And a few pictures while I was at Rachel's.  She and Jonathan were working so hard every spare minute in completing many cute signs (Ash+Pine Woodworks is their new business) for a craft fair they were participating in that next weekend .  So I tried to help out with the kids and housework.  Such cuties!

She crowned her baby brother ♥
One more picture right before I left to head home on Thursday.  I needed to go with Jeff to St. Louis Friday morning to a meeting he was speaking at Friday night and Saturday.
May 17th was Carman's birthday.  We so appreciate the wonderful daughter-in-law she is to us and the great wife and mother to Andy and the kids!!  We love you, Carm!
This cute little guy turned 18 months in May
And this boy turned 4 years old on May 19th!

Dad and Mom hosted a fun outdoor birthday party for him on Memorial Day with family and a few friends.
He had a Blaze party - cute cake!
The kids had a sand station, water station, ball pit and lots of
other outdoor toys to play with
Papa and I got him an outdoor car
Copeland is such a blessing to us.  We love you so much Buddy!!
Josh's family was in Nashville finding a house this weekend, so we missed Avi in our grandchildren picture and Josh, Michelle & Avi in our family picture.
It's so hard to believe that when we moved to Galena almost 8 years ago, grandbabies were only a deep desire of our hearts........and now we have 7!!  Thank you, thank you Lord!! ♥

The cute kids that were present
 Papa and his youngest ♥
Gideon is just precious!
After the birthday party, we loaded up Andy and Carman's kids and brought them to Galena with us for a week.  A&C were blessed with 5 days at a Pastor's Retreat.
Laine, Ellie and Shep were very good for us all week
Playing in our yard; climbing a tree

One day we spent at Cunningham Park

And then one full night at Galena Days...riding rides, eating junk food, etc!

 Papa had him laughing! ♥
The girls helped Miss Galena Queen Candidate, Gracie Shoemaker and their friend Lauren sell tickets (Gracie won and is our Miss Galena 2017 -- hooray)!
A few more rides.....we got home after ten and then baths, hair washed, etc., made for a very late night!  But they loved it all!
Andy & Carman picked them up around 4 on Friday.  Saturday, I spent all afternoon til 11:30 that night at Galena Days helping with our chicken noodle dinner fundraiser and other activities.
I have this week at home to recuperate ☻ and get caught up on laundry and housework and then these 4 are coming back to Galena to attend First Baptist's Vacation Bible School next week.
I love this picture Rachel took of them yesterday at their church.  These cousins love each other and I try very hard to provide opportunities for them to make memories together. ♥♥♥♥
So thankful for health to do so and that the parents allow their babies to spend time with us!
