October Part Two (Mostly about the grandkids)

Fun pictures of our grandchildren to smile about as I begin this postπŸ’–.
First off, our Texas Swart grandchildren, who live too far away, and thus keeps us from attending their sporting and drama activities (especially the last two years due to our health limitations).
Mack is a champion soccer player!!
Shep plays football and does great!!
Ellie and Laine are both in Drama and Dance.  We have yet to see the boys play sports or the girls do their plays which makes us sad!  Just wish they didn't live so far away!
ELLIE

LAINE in the play, Newsies
A couple of Saylor, who also lives too far away!  She has quite the fashion flair 😍
I love this assignment she did for school, "What makes me cranky" πŸ˜‚
Great penmanship for a 2nd grader!
We usually only see Avi once a year (Christmas) since she is now a full-time working gal, lives with a couple of her girlfriends and has a boyfriend.   His name is Lleyton πŸ’˜  I asked her to text me some pictures and she did.  Thanks, Avi!πŸ’•
Avi and Lleyton have been dating about 7-8 months 😍
Eisley and Gideon are taking violin lessons πŸ‘πŸŽ»
Some fun pictures using the ChatGPT app:
Eisley and Saylor as Muppets; Eisley and I as Princesses and Copeland, Gideon and Kipling as Super Heros πŸ₯°:
Sunday afternoon, October 12th, Josh, Michelle and Saylor arrived for a visit as it was Saylor's Fall Break.  We didn't make it to Grandparents Day the week prior, but she still brought us a gift (cute picture of her on a coaster).  Love her hair in pigtails πŸ₯°
This girl is good at games!!  Beats me every time!
Even though, Josh was supposed to be on "vacation" - he still worked!
On Monday night, the McCrary's joined us for an Italian meal.  Saylor made brownies for the kids.
Loved having 5 of our grandkiddos with us.πŸ’“
And their parents!πŸ’–
After dinner, we went to the Park so they could run some energy off and they did!
Tuesday, Josh and his girls headed north to Fayetteville to spend time with Michelle's Mom and her brother's family.  On Saturday, Josh and Michelle and other "Hog" friends went to the Aggies vs. Hogs game.  Josh's team, A&M, won (in fact, as of October 31, they are undefeated!).  Sadly, the Hogs record is far from that πŸ˜’.
On their way home Sunday, they met us (after church) for lunch

The McCrary's adopted a puppy!  Kipling had very bad allergies to dogs until he had his surgery in July.  So now, they decided to get a puppy.  It's a mixed breed that was free to them.
Her name is LUNA and from last report, she loves them and they love her!
Well maybe everyone but Copeland....not too much of an animal fan (like his DeDe)πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
We had a family Facetime to meet their new doggie
Love technology (sometimes😏)! πŸ“±πŸΆ
Our October Senior Adult outing (22nd) was to Mt. Magazine was on a chartered bus.  Had a great group go.  We didn't see a lot of color but that area it is still beautiful. Jeff was supposed to join me here for a picture, but he forgot.😏
Our Worship Pastor's wife, Jordan, and her 3 boys, Jonah, Ezra and Asa (whom she homeschools) joined us❤️
A great group!

KIPLING EDWARD turned 7 on October 23rd.  He's the "baby" of our family and we sure do love him!
Kip is in First Grade; He is thrilled to own his first dog now!
I finished reading thru the Bible Oct. 23 for the second time in five years (with several Bible studies in between those two times). I then started David Jeremiah's Bible study that is a great companion to what I read in Revelation.  I'm loving it!
❤️
My Dad, Edward Boore, died 25 years ago on October 28th.  It was a very sad day.  But we are so thankful we know where he is and now Mom is with him and my sisters and I will join them soon (and our brother who died at birth).  So thankful for the promise of eternal life and the assurance we will be there with Jesus and our loved ones!!πŸ’™πŸ’™
Halloween 2025 for my Grandkids:
Yes, even the teacher got in on the act!
Update on our Weight Loss Journey
As of Oct. 31, Jeff has lost 77 lbs., and I have lost 48.5 lbs.  Our doctor had us start Mounjaro in 2024 for our diabetes which resulted in our AIC being in acceptable range and it has greatly helped in weight loss, which we both were sure needing (our appetite is half or more of what it was prior to the medicine).  We are thankful....and now to maintain!
Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!
