November and December

I decorated the second week of November.  I keep downsizing every year.  The tree is what we enjoy most and where I spend the majority of my time.  I had to string all the lights (approx. 800-1,000).๐Ÿซจ  Took 4 hours total by time I ran to the store to buy more lights.

Our last "regular" Small Group fellowship met Nov. 5th for this semester.  We have had several new folks join us this past semester, so I asked for a picture to put on our Facebook page.  We have around 36 on our roll now and thus the reason we meet at Perspective instead of in a home.
Our three leaders/facilitators:  Paul, Mark and Jeff
On November 7th, several of us girls traveled to Moss Mountain/P. Allen Smith's gardens and home in Roland, AR

We even got to meet P. Allen.  It was a lot of fun and a pretty tour!
Our Senior Adults (and friends) attended the Senior Adult/Celebration Conference in Branson.
As always, it was a great time!
Donny and Yalanda were such fun hosts!!
So appreciate these two girls leading our Senior Adult Ministry in 2025
Went to the Presleys' Show during that time.  It was great!
And so thrilled to see our long-time Texas friends, Pat and Robin McCown!๐Ÿ’•
Our grandson, Shep, turned 10 on November 23rd!๐Ÿ’™
THANKSGIVING
Kaye and Rob hosted their families and included Jeff and I.  Delicious meal and fun visit!
Thanksgiving picture texted to us from the Texas Swarts
And from the Little Rock McCrary's
Kaye, Glo, Charlene and I had a fun Sunday afternoon on November 30th doing the Christmas Tour of Homes.  All were beautiful!
Home Alone House - It was great (as all the homes were)
A group of our Seniors went to Murray's Dinner Theater in Little Rock to see Frozen
It was very enjoyable
That night was our Jensen Small Group Christmas Party in the beautiful home of Paul and Glo!
So very thankful for our Small Group!๐Ÿ’—
On Dec. 3rd, at noon, was the Senior Adult/Pathfinders Class Christmas Party
Even "old" people can have fun (throwing snowballs at the camera)๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚
Sadly, I didn't end up taking this "White Elephant" gift home (very cute!)
BETHLEHEM, Dec. 3-8
Ready to go to the church and usher that first night (as well as Sat. night)
Yes, we matched!
Jeff and I worked the sanctuary (this picture was before people started arriving).
Toya and Claire were our "head" ushers!
Jackie was my helper
It was a record year!!  Approx. 7,500 visited Bethlehem over the 3 nights!
With a couple of my friends, Glo....
and Linda.....
December 9th was Avi's 21st Birthday!❤️
Jeff and I were able to go to Eisley's Christmas Concert at her school on Dec. 12th
The next night, Eisley and Gideon were privileged to play their violins at the Capitol.  We didn't go due to timing (and the fact they had a very short tine to play).  But they got all dressed up, looked beautiful/handsome and I'm sure did wonderful!
While Mom, Gideon and Eisley were doing that, Dad was giving drum (and guitar lessons) to Copeland and Kipling.  A very musical family!๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽถ
Our Calvary's Promise Class Christmas Party (Dec. 13)
December 14-15, Jeff and I took a quick trip to Branson (for our upcoming anniversary) and went to Silver Dollar City.
It is so beautiful at Christmastime!๐ŸŽ„❤️๐ŸŽ„
Rachel was overwhelmed and so honored to be voted "Teacher of the Year" at Fulbright Elementary in December.๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰ The administrators, students and parents are so thankful for her leading their Art Program.
Andy and family on Christmas Sunday
Our Sunday Lunch Bunch friends.....on Christmas Sunday at Antioch
Jeff and I celebrated 53 years of marriage on Dec. 22th
Since I'm posting this "after" -- over a week after Christmas, I pray it was a wonderful Christmas for each of you!  It sure was for Jeff and I.  I will post about our family Christmas in the next post.
Some fun AI images to close out this post๐Ÿ˜†
Another very busy November/December is done!  Always fun, but also exhausting๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ!  Thankful, though to be able to enjoy all that we did in 2025 with our church, friends and family❤️❤️!!
