DisneyWorld 2017 - Post #4 - Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom - Sept. 18th

After such a traumatic night and very late bedtime, we were all up, breakfast eaten and ready to head to Hollywood Studios by 10:30 a.m. on Day 3 of our Disney vacation

Waiting in our bus line at resort
These family pictures were actually taken much later in the day, but I'm posting first as I have done on the other postings -- family pictures first.

Much to Shep's delight, the Storm Troopers were the first to greet us
 He called them "guys" 😁

We had a fast pass for this Frozen Sing-A-Long.
Really cute.  It even snowed on us!!
We then went to the Muppets 3-D Movie.  All the 3-D movies at the parks are so very good!
Pink 3D glasses for the guys 😀
Next we were in the Star Wars area

Andy, Carman, Laine, Ellie & I rode the Star Tours-The Adventures Continue ride.  Jeff stayed with Shep since he was too small for this ride.
We then ate lunch at Pizzerizzo
Then we went to see the Indiana Jones Stunt Show
We met up with some friends from Andy and Carman's church (and her parents).  That was fun!
We got to see the first major scene and then they had mechanical problems and cancelled the rest of the show (much to our dismay!).  We did go back a few days later and saw the entire show.
 A snake - yikes!

A family picture in the Toy Story area.  As you can tell - it was hot!  I have my cooling towel around my neck (and I think Andy does too).  Jeff thought to take his off before pic.
This was one of our favorite rides at Hollywood Studios!  Toy Story Mania
We rode it a second time a few days later
The girls got their faces painted 😍

 Cute shirts!
We had some pictures made with the friends of Andy and Carman's in front of the Tower of Terror
(Jared and Jessica Smith and their 2 children and Jessica's parents)
 Scary Ride!
I gladly stayed behind with Shep, but the rest all rode it (and are in the picture below).  The girls loved it!
It was around 5:30 and we decided to go back to Magic Kingdom to see it at night and enjoy the cooler temps.  We wanted to experience more of the transportation options as I mentioned in the first posting.  So we took a ferry boat to Epcot

And then at Epcot, we got on the Monorail to ride to Magic Kingdom

We got to Magic Kingdom around 7.  Our first ride was the Magic Carpets of Aladdin

We then ate supper at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Then we rode the Pirates of Caribbbean

The Audio-Animatronic for Johnny Depp sure looked like him!
And then we got to experience Cinderella's Castle Fireworks - "Happily Ever After"
Along with fireworks, there was music and video images on the castle.  It was the coolest thing ever!!
High on Papa's shoulders so he could see the fireworks
We left Magic Kingdom at 9:30 getting back at 10:05.
A long but very fun day!
Day 3 -- we walked 15,470 steps and walked 7.5 miles
