DisneyWorld 2017 -- Post #5 - Disney Springs & Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique - Sept. 19th

Day 4 - Disney Springs
This was called Downtown Disney the last time we were in Florida.  It's not considered a "park" and you don't have to pay admission to visit here.  It's a very large shopping area with many unique stores, restaurants, etc.
Carman had made an appointment months before our trip to bring the girls here to get all beautified like princesses at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  So Mom, Dad and girls left the hotel about 9:00 a.m. to eat breakfast and then take the Disney bus to their destination.
Jeff, Shep and I lingered around our hotel room an hour or so before joining them at Disney Springs.  It was actually sprinkling when we arrived, but didn't ever rain, thankfully.
They got their hair fixed, make up on, nails painted, etc.
I'm sure it was a wonderful experience for them
And the results were BEAUTIFUL!! 💖💖
We had arrived just when they finished up and were at Lego Land
The girls surrounding Laine and Ellie are all made of Lego's!
 Another one inside the store
The girls making their own Lego creations
During this time, Shep had a blow out diaper.  Since we were only going to be gone from the hotel a short time, we didn't think to pack an extra outfit.  So Carman went searching for a place to buy him some shorts.  She stepped inside a store we had previously been in that had mostly souvenir type products and asked the clerk where she might find her little boy some clothes.  The kind lady thought for a minute and then asked her to stay there.  She came back with a cute Mickey Mouse pajama set and told Carman she could just have it -- no charge!!  The shorts worked great and didn't look like pajamas.  So that makes two thumbs up 👍👍 for Disney customer service!! 💙
Once Shep had dry drawers, he was able to see some of the "guy" Lego creations with Dad

Love this one!
Tried to get a cute family picture, but Ellie was hiding in Momma's shoulder.
We ate lunch at the Earl of Sandwich restaurant and then headed back to resort as we had promised the girls they could go swimming (which was hard on Momma to take down their hair, etc., after paying big bucks to get them all pretty).  But this was the only day we could squeeze in that swimming since we didn't have a ticket to a park on Tuesday.
We arrived back at the resort around 2:15.  I asked Andy to take us girls' picture.  Carman and I both had on LaLuRoe dresses.
Doggone it, my slip was showing!!! 😕👎
Andy, Shep and Papa took long naps, while the girls enjoyed the pool for about 3 hours on one of our cooler, cloudier days.
We headed back to the room around 6, showered, dressed and then went to eat a nice sit-down meal at Olive Garden.  On our way back to hotel, we made a quick stop at Walmart.
Got back at 9:30 and to bed around 10:30 (we sure planned a much earlier bedtime, but it didn't happen).
Day 4 - we walked 9,417 steps and 4.52 miles
