Chef Mickey's Dinner

We wanted to do one character meal while we were at Disney.  Rachel and Carman got up at 4 a.m. one morning about a month from our trip (the first morning allowed for us to make reservations) to try and make a reservation for breakfast at Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera resort (the girls had been told this was the best character meal).  But there was no available times.....at any time or any day we were going to be there!😟  So they then tried to make a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort.  Again, they struck out.  So the last option was to do dinner at Chef Mickey's and they were able to book that. Tables only held 6, so Josh's family and Jeff and I ate together (thanks so much Josh for buying Dad and I's mealπŸ’“!), and then Andy's family and Rachel's family each had their own table (and we were scattered so couldn't watch the other kids' reactions to the characters).  But it was agreed by ALL -- that it was well worth the time and the money (it's expensive), as it was a great experience for all of us.  The food was delicious and the service was excellent.  The characters were all so sweet to the kids!  Definitely recommend a character meal if you are at Disney!!πŸ’–πŸ’–  I will post pictures of each family's children with the 5 characters:  Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck:

Saylor was so excited when she saw the first character coming toward our table πŸ’“

Each character signed Saylor's autograph book as well

You can tell Kipling isn't feeling good here 😒

The food was delicious -- but no one got a picture.....we had several different options of salads, meats, veggies, rolls, etc. (all family style) plus children option foods.  And delicious desserts too!

IT WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID IT!!
