Our first morning was an early one. We wanted to get to Hollywood Studios for the early opening (those staying at the resort was able to enter 30 minutes early). So we got up at 6:00 am. Walked to Spyglass Grill in Caribbean Beach Resort for breakfast—about a 5 minute walk. Then at 7:30 am, we walked to the Skyliner arriving at 7:45 and boarded immediately. This was definitely our favorite mode of transportation for the week. We just wished it would have went to every park, but it only goes to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. So much faster than the bus that we had to ride other days.

Our first ride was Toy Story Mania
Eisley hooked up with Laine all week.....I was proud of Laine in being so kind to her little cousin. They were roller coaster buddy's!💗
Rachel, with some assistance from Carman and Andy...booked our Genie + and/or Disability Pass reservations each day....what a blessing the combination of those two things were (and all the work Rachel did each day to get us on the rides)! We rarely waited over 15 minutes to get on a ride (many rides had 2+ hours or more wait times!). Rachel spent 3 hours on the phone with Disney a couple of weeks before we left to get that Disability Pass (since Jeff was using the walker)....it allowed all 18 of us to go on the fast lane just like Genie + did!! So using both these things interchangeably was such a huge blessing!
Next ride around 9 a.m. was the Alien Swirling Saucers. Those who were riding it got to the front of the line & it broke down. Then, the other side of the ride broke down. So the wait time on this ride was longer....but they all loved it once they got to ride!
The next ride: Slinky Dog Dash - Those who rode it, loved it!

Frozen—For the First Time in Forever—A Sing-Along Celebration--Very cute and it snows at the end!💓

12:10 pm—we ate Lunch at Rosie’s All American Café in the Sunset Ranch Market Area. Our mobile order took 25 minutes (so we waited longer for food than we did our rides).
1:37 pm—Rode Twilight Zone Tower of Terror—Jonathan & Jeff only adults—Avi, Eisley, Shep, Laine, & Ellie (and they all loved it)!
No, those below didn't ride it!
2:20 pm—Visited Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy
2:40 pm—Rock’n Roller Coaster—Avi, Jonathan, Copeland, Ellie, Eisley, Laine, Andy, Shep, Carman, Jeff & Josh..

3:40 pm—Kids battle the robots they just built. Copeland’s R2D2 robot won the robot race.
Dad's mailed the robots home.
4:29 pm—Rise of the Resistance--what they have all been waiting for!! The new Star Wars area at Hollywood Studios is really cool (for those who are into Star Wars)!
5:49 pm—Smugglers Run
We were hoping to see Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular after that but it had no more shows for the day (several in the group were disappointed so some of the family returned another day to see that show).
6:55 pm—We ate supper again at Rosie’s All American Cafe in the Sunset Ranch Market Area
7:43 pm—We finally got some group pictures in front of the big Christmas tree (first time for all the family that day). As you can see, it was dark by now....
8:30 pm—We watched an animated Mickey Mouse, Snow White
& the 7 Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Bambi, Little Mermaid, Lion
King, Ralph, Beauty & the Beast, Lightning McQueen , etc. audio & video
projected on the Chinese Theater. Fireworks & lasers also. Really neat!
8:48 pm—Left Hollywood Studios
8:54 pm— Boarded Skyliner to Carribean Beach Resort
8:59 pm—Got off Skyliner & walked to hotel room
9:15 pm—Arrived @ hotel room
OUR FIRST DAY WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!!
(And several of our group liked this park the best of the 4 at Disneyworld)
